Too many crafts, not enough time

If you are someone like me, you have many hobbies, but not enough time to do all that you want to do.
Since I was 10 I have been painting landscapes, but switched from water based acrylics to oils. I draw cartoons, basically anything I draw except for landscapes look like cartoons. I have also made several afgans, but mostly baby sized ones, as they make great shower gifts. Ten years ago I started designing websites, all self taught.

About six years ago I was introduced to scrapbooking, but it wasn't until four years ago that I started making my own pages and eventually started making cards as well. I am currently with a group of women that get together about once a month and have a paper craft session with a Close To My Heart consultant, and we have a blast, where we make layouts or cards.

Last year I started baking and decorating cakes to save money on birthdays for my little girl. Last year was a two-tiered castle cake, and this year was a three-tiered cake with a waterfall all in buttercream frosting for a Disney Fairies theme. I even made all the decorations for the party making several disney fairies with the Cricut and some iridescent glitter. Her party was on October 1st, and I am still finding glitter around the house!

This year for Christmas, the family has decided to do baked goods. So again, I will be baking up all sorts of goodies, I do not normally do cookies out here in Colorado because they go flatter than anything. This year I will be doing banana bread, pumpkin bread, peanut brittle and english toffee. I purchased the cricut cartridge from Close to my Heart that cuts out boxes and 3D flowers so that I could make those, decorate them up special, and put the baked goods inside and then wrap up all the boxes and put them in a basket for each family.

Oh I forgot to mention, I am also doing a counted cross stitch piece that will be 11 x 14 when it is finished on my breaks and lunches at work, hoping to have it done by Christmas. I hope.

So as you can see, I have a lot of hobbies, and sometimes I have a hard time choosing which ones to work on, and sometimes I will get halfway through a project and stop and work on a different hobby, because most of the time when I do certain hobbies they flow with certain seasons.

As I make new things that may have a new technique or idea that I recently learned I will show them and provide instructions on how to duplicate the results. Any product that I use from Close to my Heart I will let you know as those products are only available in the U.S. right now.
